DESIGN FOR GOOD POSTER SHOW:
As designers, we all believe our work can have a major impact on the world live in, and we strive each day to help make that impact. We are lucky to have a career that provides the opportunity to give back to our community. When you gather a group of people who share two common interests - design and social justice - you begin to realize that there are endless opportunities to reach out to people with an important message.
Take a stand on one of the issues listed below (pro-con, for-against, left-right) visually in 16” x 20” poster format. Feel free to approach an issue from any angle - you have full creative freedom. Judges will select the top designs, which will be reproduced in large format for the show. Designers will retain all copyright to their works.
Thinking at both a local and a global scale, let’s turn our focus to three topics that are more important today than ever: homelessness, gender inequality, and climate change.
Selected local non-profits and charities will attend the showcase, sparking conversation and providing opportunities to get involved in a cause.
