The GDD Program at Champlain College is excited to welcome Clif Stoltze as our fall speaker Thursday, October 1, 4:00pm in the Alumni Auditorium. He will be presenting his exhibition, POSTGIG. A reception in the CCM gallery will immediately follow.
Hailing from Boston, POSTGIG is a traveling exhibition of contemporary music posters, curated by Clif Stoltze, author of 1000 Music Graphics. The show features original works by Modern Dog, Aesthetic Apparatus, Patent Pending, The Small Stakes, Seripop, Hammerpress, The Decoder Ring, and many more.
In September of 2008, the first POSTGIG show was presented in Boston at the Fort Point Art Community Gallery and it drew one of the largest crowds ever for an FPAC gallery opening. Since then, Clif has continued to add more posters and POSTGIG has been on tour with stops in Charlotte, Richmond, Providence, Albany, St. Louis, Montpelier, VT and in Memphis as part of the AIGA’s national design conference.
