[ UPDATE: This event has been postponed until a possible November date. If you have a team that would like to compete, please contact us below by Oct 1.]
AIGA Vermont is inviting teams of designers to construct creative giant sized structures made entirely out of canned and non-perishable food, to benefit Vermont Food Bank, Vermont’s Largest Hunger-Relief Organization. It is an opportunity to showcase the design and construction talents of the local design community, whether graphic, architecture, engineering, artists, or any team of professional creatives that wants to show off their design planning and execution skills in a competitive setting.

The designs will be constructed and displayed at ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center on the Burlington waterfront. The structures will remain on display at ECHO for several days after the competition. While this is a judged event, the public is invited to stop by to see the teams in action and vote for their favorites once the last can is in place. Judging (and voting) takes place immediately after the competition is over.
